Disaster Relief Grant (for Affiliates)

The Disaster recovery pilot program has been established under the Community Support Program to support affiliates who have been affected from the fire and floods in 2026. 

Applicants must have been directly impacted by a declared major disaster, including but not limited to, bushfires, floods, severe storms or other community disasters. 

Applicants will be assessed on all information provided, and a request may be made to provide more evidence/clarification on your situation. Every application must contain true and accurate information. 

Applications will be assessed by the Netball Victoria grant assessment panel.  Approvals will also be subject to 2026 annual budget until the funds are exhausted. 

Funding may be used for, but not limited to:

• Minor repairs
• Equipment replacement
• Soft furnishings
• Community rebuilding initiatives
• Membership Levy

Before proceeding, please confirm the following:

• you have read and understood the program guidelines, terms and conditions
• you have a current affiliate agreement with Netball Victoria
• your affiliate has been affected by a major disaster (i.e. bushfire, flood, storm, or other declared community disaster. 
• your affiliate can demonstrate how the funding will contribute to rebuilding efforts and continuation of Netball activities.
• your affiliate can demonstrate the capacity to expend the funds within a 6-12 month period.
• your affiliate must have an Australian bank account.
